Additional Consultation Services for students of Jena University

During your studies in Jena, if you need help or have problems, please contact the International Office.    Telephone: 03641 931146 or 03641 931145.

The Studierendenwerk (Student Social Services) offers free consultation for students in the following areas: legal advice, social services, psychosocial counselling. More »

There is a mentoring programme for international students. Here, you will be in contact with a mentor, who will help you get started here in Jena.

Support Programme for degree seeking students

The Fachmentoring Support Programme offers academic and social support for international students during their entire course of study (BA, BSc, Staatsexamen) at the FSU. You can register for the contact and receive contact to an experienced student (UniCoach) and an experienced lecturer (SciCoach).

The Writing Centre of FSU Jena offers workshops and regular office hours for individual counselling for all students who wish to improve their academic writing skills: jow to write term papers, final theses, abstracts, handouts for presentatiosn etc. In the Long Night of Unfinished Papers you might join others in overcoming writing blockades and get on with your projects together.
